Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs, including detailed psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their specific needs, goals, and cultural contexts.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), serving clients through individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, and work with other healthcare professionals to ensure continual support for clients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain rigorous clinical documentation practices, ensuring all progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries adhere to clinic policies as well as state and federal regulations.

• Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with knowledge and skills to manage their mental health effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to plans and coordinate holistic care for patients.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes to evaluate effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on collected data and client feedback.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health care, ensuring continuous integration of knowledge into your practice.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines to protect patient information at all times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
