Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), customizing sessions to meet client needs and objectives.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client stressors, goals, and areas for growth, tailoring therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to foster self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focusing on stress management, mindfulness practices, and resilience-building strategies.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into one-on-one therapy sessions to address individual mental health issues and promote overall client growth.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive treatment plan that incorporates both mindfulness and traditional therapeutic modalities.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress tracking, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing personal mindfulness practice, self-reflection, and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in mindfulness-based therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with diverse populations seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other emotional difficulties. Your role will be to create a safe, non-judgmental space that encourages clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while guiding them toward greater resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
