Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Every other holiday and every other weekend.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Normal

Requirements:

• Current nursing license
• Experience in Medsurg nursing
• Experience with PCU-level care is preferred
• Basic knowledge of EMR systems

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in a blended Medsurg unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established guidelines.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and manage patient intake/output effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Engage in shared decision-making and participate in unit committees and initiatives.

Compliance / Notes:

• No on-call responsibilities.
• Orientation and training are provided for staff.
• Background checks and drug screening are required prior to employment.
