Job Title: Quality Inspector

$20-$21/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to establish and maintain quality standards for the products we manufacture. The ideal candidate will ensure that operations meet production standards through careful examination of blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality standards for various manufactured products.

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with production standards.

• Recommend necessary adjustments and changes to production processes.

• Inspect and test materials and equipment using gadgets such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

• Remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.

• Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team.

• Perform random inspections to assess product quality.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of mechanical inspection experience, preferably in Aerospace.

• Familiarity with working to drawings and prints to ensure parts meet standards.

• Good communication skills.

• Proficiency in precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

• Experience with visual inspection.

• Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean manufacturing environment where most activities are performed on your feet. We offer various positions on both 1st and 2nd shifts, with 1st shift running from 6AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday and 6AM to 12PM on Saturdays, and 2nd shift from 4PM to 2:30AM Monday through Friday and 12PM to 6PM on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
