We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our team and serve as the crucial link between our customers and our service technicians. Position Summary The Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers and assessing their vehicle's needs. You will listen to customer concerns, translate them into a clear work order for our technicians, and provide timely updates to the customer throughout the service process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of automotive systems, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Listen to customer descriptions of vehicle problems and concerns. Inspect vehicles with the customer to confirm issues and accurately document the scope of work. Write clear and comprehensive repair orders for technicians. Provide detailed explanations of the technician's findings and recommended services to the customer. Communicate estimates for parts and labor, and seek customer approval before work begins. Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle and any changes to the original estimate or timeline. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring a smooth and transparent service experience. Schedule service appointments and manage the service workflow. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address service-related questions. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or in a similar role. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic to intermediate knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
