Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in critical care nursing principles and practices, particularly in managing patients with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting
• Utilize telemetry monitoring techniques and interpret dysrhythmias
• Administer IV medications and perform phlebotomy as needed
• Manage feeding tubes, colostomy care, and other specialized nursing tasks
• Assist in the management of patients undergoing pre and post hemodialysis
• Participate in rapid response and code situations with care teams
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and wound care protocols

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry
• Current RN license required (NC or Compact license acceptable)
• BCLS certification required (Advanced certifications are preferred)
• Experience with EPIC documentation system is preferred
