Accounting & Payroll Support Clerk

Job Title

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable team member to provide support in basic accounting functions, payroll assistance, and general administrative tasks. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the payroll processes in a secure and organized manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and organize credit card receipts from staff and departments
• Enter receipt data and other financial information into QuickBooks accurately and timely
• Assist with payroll-related tasks such as tracking timekeeping records and reviewing reports
• File and maintain accounting, benefits, and personnel documents in compliance with company policies
• Reconcile benefit invoices to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Provide general support to finance teams as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in accounting or business preferred. At least 1 year of experience in a clerical, accounting, or administrative support role. Basic understanding of bookkeeping and payroll processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills a must.

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary depending on operational needs.
