HR AssistantThe Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support for the Human Resources Department. This position assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance tracking, and employee support. The HR Assistant serves as a key point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits enrollment, and general employment-related inquiries while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with federal, state, and healthcare industry regulations.Approved Work Locations:CarondeletDutchtownForest Park SoutheastUniversity CityRUNG for WomenPlaces for PeopleAny other approved locations added in the future.Qualifications:Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources administrative experience required.Experience administering employee benefits programs required.Experience in a healthcare, community health center, FQHC, or medical environment preferred.Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.Knowledge of human resources principles and employment regulations.Understanding of employee benefits administration, including health and retirement plans.Familiarity with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and related employment laws.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS platforms, and data entry systems.Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.Ability to attend meeting and training sessions throughout facility locations as needed.Confidentiality:Respect for and maintenance of client and staff confidentiality is required.
