Medical Receptionist

Live to Move Physical Therapy & Wellness is looking for a medical receptionist to join our team at our only clinic on the border of Manvel and Pearland. This person will work to support the daily operations of the office.  The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate compassionately and clearly in both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities:

• Field inbound communications - Answer phone calls/general email inquiries.
• Liaise with patients & visitors - Act as point person for whomever enters the clinic.
• Insurance verification - Use online services and/or phone communication to verify patient benefits.
• Charting information - Accurately enter and maintain patient chart information while maintaining patient privacy
• Scheduling - Set up and maintain patient's schedules including use of waitlist to fill cancelations 
• Payments - Explain and collect payments; use of point-of-sale device

Requirements:

• Compassion with the ability to communicate delicate matters like cost to patients in pain
• Positive, high-energy attitude
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, scanner)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel and Office)
• Proficient in internet-based computer programs in general
