Job Title: Spatial Data & Asset Integrity Analyst

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Spatial Data & Asset Integrity Analyst to join our operations team. You will serve as the bridge between our digital records and field reality. This role is responsible for reconciling discrepancies between large-scale spatial datasets and field-captured photographic or lidar evidence.
The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who can "read" a map, synthesize conflicting data sources, and provide actionable recommendations to correct our enterprise asset records. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on uncovering data quality issues, performing root-cause analysis, and streamlining business processes within a complex, high-stakes operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Asset Reconciliation
• Desktop Geospatial Analysis: Perform complex spatial analysis to validate asset locations and identify data discrepancies within our digital mapping and management systems.
• Evidence Synthesis: Review and consolidate diverse inputs-including field-captured photography, Lidar, and historical work order documentation-to verify physical asset accuracy.
• System of Record Correction: Identify, research, and provide expert recommendations to resolve conflicting information between field conditions and existing system-of-record documentation (e.g., SAP, GIS platforms).
• Requirements & Strategy: Identify business requirements and process gaps. Proactively develop strategies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our data management practices.

Project & Process Leadership
• Technical Documentation: Lead technical writing functions, including mapping out complex process flows, documenting "as-is" vs. "to-be" workflows, and creating professional project documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication across project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to understand product strategy, release timelines, and operational needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Assess business value versus effort to prioritize data clean-up initiatives and propose solutions for emerging systems and technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience Baseline: Three to five (3-5) years of professional analytical experience.
• Spatial Proficiency: Two (2) or more years of hands-on experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, ESRI, or AutoCAD Map 3D.
• Data Mastery: Two (2) or more years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel for data reconciliation (VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, and advanced graphing).
• Analytical Aptitude: Proven experience in problem identification, root cause analysis, and the ability to interpret multiple technical inputs to draw logical, defensible conclusions.

Preferred Attributes
• Operational experience within the public utility or civil infrastructure industry.
• Familiarity with Records Management Systems (e.g., SAP, SAS, or large-scale enterprise GIS).
• Experience facilitating cross-functional project teams.
