Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Schedule: Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Requirements:

• NY RN license required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Experience with phlebotomy and IV placement

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care based on nursing assessments and physician orders.
• Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including recognizing and addressing emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation provided: 16 hours
• Background checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Minimal requests for time off (RTO) allowed; submittal constraint cannot accommodate more than 10 days RTO
