About the Role:

Velis Associates, Inc is a leading elevator cab manufacturer with over 25 Years of experience working with various elevator companies located within the Tri-State area. As a Draftsman at Velis Associates, you will collaborate our project management team to design various elevator cab interiors, entrances and architectural products.

Draftsman/AutoCad Operator must be able to prepare complete and accurate detail drawings for approval and fabrication documents from project layouts, architectural plans, detail drawings , field survey or notes. When required, will revise Shop drawings based on Architect/GC comments as presented by PM. The right candidate will possess the necessary skills and drive to analyze situations and find solutions to challenges.

Qualifications: • Proficient in the use of AutoCad. • Ability to read Blueprints. • Knowledge of construction and fabrication methods a plus. • Intermediate math skills. • Clear written and verbal skills. • Ability to work in a group. • Ability to independently manage time. • Ability to demonstrate adaptability. • Positive attitude and passion for the role The ideal candidate will be competent in managing their time and activites and must embrace our Project Management processes and systems. Candidates must possess a 'can-do' perspective in their professional attitude. They will be detail oriented and demonstrate a strong work ethic. They will be sticklers for accuracy in their own work.
