About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to grow and manage commercial client relationships across the NYC market. This person will be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and partnering with clients to understand their staffing and workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients across NYC.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client accounts.
- Conduct regular client outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and meetings.
- Understand client hiring needs and work closely with recruiting teams to deliver qualified talent.
- Manage the full client relationship from initial engagement through successful placement.
- Generate new leads and build a strong NYC commercial client pipeline.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and business terms with clients.
- Track sales activity, opportunities, and revenue growth in CRM.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay informed on NYC market trends, competitors, and client hiring needs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in staffing, recruitment, workforce solutions, or B2B sales.
- Proven experience managing and growing client accounts.
- Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
- Existing NYC commercial client relationships/network is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with IT staffing/workforce solutions is preferred.
