School Clerk/Aide (19.75 hrs/week) Location: Lonsdale Elementary, Lincoln, Rhode Island Starting Date: Aug 24, 2026 Job Type: Part-time Salary: $19 per hour Job Description Lincoln Public Schools is seeking a part-time School Clerk/Aide for Lonsdale Elementary for the 2026/2027 school year. The role supports the efficient operation of the school office and assists teachers as needed. Responsibilities Serve as backup to the main office school administrative assistant during breaks and absences. Greet visitors and staff personally or via phone, determine needs and respond appropriately to requests. Perform standard office duties: place and receive phone calls, make copies, schedule meetings and appointments, compose correspondence and reports, order supplies, and maintain filing system. Assist the main office school administrative assistant as needed. Assist teachers in classroom activities and nurse’s office duties as required. Supervise children outside and inside the classroom, including cafeteria, playground, and hallways. Complete additional tasks as necessary for smoother operation of the school. Perform all related tasks as assigned by the School Principal/Administrator. Qualifications High school diploma. Proficiency in typing, word processing, and office computer applications. Ability to work effectively with students. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public. At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Additional Requirements Nationwide fingerprinting BCI check results. Completed W‑4. Completed I‑9 form with supporting documentation. Benefits Position duration: 182 days (school year). 19 3/4 hours per week.
