Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs, challenges, and goals.

• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that cater to individual client circumstances.

• Provide mental health education and resources to clients and their families, fostering understanding and cooperation.

• Engage in regular consultation with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure cohesive and client-centered care.

• Stay current with emerging mental health research, best practices, and treatment methodologies to deliver high-quality support.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with those involved in the client's care.

• Document all patient interactions in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies in our electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health challenges. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, providing support and guidance tailored to their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• An active New York State license in one of the following: LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in technology and experience using electronic health record systems.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of experience in a counseling or therapeutic role, preferably in a community health setting.

• Experience with trauma-informed care and working with high-risk populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
