Staff Accountant

LHH is assisting our client in Tulsa on their search for a Staff Accountant to join their permanent team. This role is responsible for supporting the daily accounting operations of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. This role works closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed Maintain financial records and supporting documentation Assist in preparing financial statements and reports Analyze account activity and research discrepancies Support audit requests and compliance requirements Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting procedures Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1+ years of accounting experience preferred Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH Recruitment Solutions
