About the Role We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support our growth in the public sector. This role combines proposal development and client engagement. You’ll help identify government contracting opportunities, support the response to RFPs and RFIs, and lead live product demonstrations to prospective clients. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the GovTech space, working with a collaborative, technically focused team. You'll work directly with company leadership and product experts to help public agencies modernize how they operate. Key Responsibilities Monitor state and federal RFP/RFI portals for relevant opportunities Analyze RFPs and manage internal response timelines and coordination Draft, format, and edit proposal documents in compliance with RFP requirements Deliver engaging product demonstrations to public‑sector audiences Develop a working knowledge of our platform, arc , and tailor demos accordingly Maintain proposal templates and a library of supporting documents Assist in improving internal processes around business development and proposal response What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in English, Public Policy, Business, Communications, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with strong time management abilities Comfort presenting to external stakeholders, including government officials Interest in government, technology, and digital transformation Ability to learn quickly and work independently Bonus: Experience with proposal writing, RFP responses, or government procurement Bonus: Familiarity with SaaS, licensing, compliance, or regulatory software This is an ideal time to join JD Software as we expand our footprint in the public sector.
