1st shift position 6:30 am – 5 pm Monday through Thursday. Requires some overtime. Additional overtime is available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Role and Responsibilities

• Adjust tooling fixtures for manual hob mills
• Operate the hob mill grinder
• Conduct quality checks on milled parts
• Install and remove the hob mill in a safe and efficient manner
• Mill changeovers will consist of proper alignment of mills, checking water, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical connections daily
• Troubleshoot any issues with milling machine equipment
• Maintain organization of hob mills and milling machine components
• Perform daily housekeeping to provide a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Must be able to read vernier, digital, and dial calipers
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize accordingly
• Industrial machinery mechanical maintenance experience preferred. Ability to troubleshoot, adjust, take apart, and put back together.
• Candidate must possess strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
• Required 2-3 years of similar experience.
• Must be physically able to walk/climb on machines as necessary
• The candidate must be able to lift and move 50lbs
• Milling experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred, and the ability to become forklift certified
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends
• Must have a good attitude, great work ethic, ability to work with others, avoid conflict, and be able to commit to the work schedule.
• Must have their own reliable transportation (no shared, carpooling, or public transportation)

Reports to the Production Supervisor

Consent to 5-year background check and 5-panel pre-employment drug screening. Results must be clear before reporting for the first day of employment, along with a signed acknowledgement of the Putsch® Confidentiality Agreement and Drug & Alcohol Testing Policy.
