Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional for a Backfill Contract position in the surgical department. This role involves working with a variety of trauma, orthopedic, vascular, neuro, and robotic surgical cases. The contract is for a duration of 13 weeks with shifts from Friday to Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Unit Information

The surgical unit comprises:

  • Location: Central 1st Floor
  • Number of Beds: 14 ORs (including 2 heart rooms and 1 hybrid room)
  • Number of Staff: 120
  • Patient Ratios: 1 to 1
  • Types of Staff:

    • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 16 RNs, 16 Techs, Attendants, Anesthesia Techs
    • Night Shift: 2 RNs and 2 Techs
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of scrub or circulating experience.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with Robotics, Neuro, Ortho, and Trauma procedures.
Typical Procedures

The following surgical procedures are commonly performed in this unit:
  • General Surgery
  • Gynecological Surgery
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Surgery
  • Urology Surgery

Dress Code

Scrub attire is Ciel Blue and will be provided by the facility. Please adhere to professional standards and avoid unacceptable attire.
