The value you'll bring to the team:

• Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.
• Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.
• Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice. Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician.
• Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures.
• Prepares the room in a timely manner with all anticipated supplies and equipment for each endoscopy procedure.
• Demonstrates competence in the care and accurate handling of specimens.
• Checks all equipment and instruments needed prior to each procedure to ensure proper functioning.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability and willingness to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule. Fluent in English Language, speaking, reading, writing. Ability to function at a high level in a physically demanding, high-stress environment. Ability to work irregular hours including call hours. Knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of Gastroenterology.

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required) Technical/Vocational School (Preferred)

Work Experience: 1+ work related experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support CPR Cert (BLS) (Required) Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) (Preferred)

Pay Range: $17.11 $27.38
