Mammography Technologist - Float Team

This role involves supporting a variety of imaging services as part of a diagnostic float team across multiple facilities. The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality mammography exams, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Responsibilities include gathering patient history, positioning patients, operating equipment safely, reviewing image quality, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards such as ACR and MQSA. The technologist must accurately document procedures, support infection control, and assist in emergencies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in radiologic and mammography work within hospital settings. Certifications required are ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS. Key skills include strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and excellent communication.
