Position Summary This role focuses on delivering exceptional member service in the checkout and front‑end areas of Sam’s Club. You will handle member purchases, resolve issues and concerns, promote products and services, and support members in using self‑service technology. The position also includes maintaining safety, managing merchandise, and ensuring a secure shopping environment. Responsibilities Provide member service and support throughout the checkout area. Resolve member issues and concerns, assisting with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following company policies. Promote Sam’s Club products and services, guiding members in purchasing decisions. Support members in using self‑service technology and new tools. Maintain entrance and exit areas, verifying membership and securing merchandise. Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe conditions to facility management. Handle merchandise safely, correct issues, and report shrink or damage. Assist in training new associates on company processes and technology. Execute emergency response procedures and document required paperwork, logs, and logs. Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and business partners to prioritize work and improve processes. Qualifications Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register. Proficiency with mobile retail applications. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
