Job Summary

As the Chef Manager, you will lead both front- and back-of-house operations for a prestigious law firm dining account. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary leadership while creating an exceptional dining experience for a discerning clientele.

You’ll oversee the daily culinary operation while managing menu development, purchasing, inventory, food and labor costs, and sanitation standards. You’ll also lead, coach, and develop your team, creating a positive environment focused on quality, service, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily front- and back-of-house operations while maintaining high standards for food quality, service, and presentation.

• Develop creative menus that meet client expectations and support the overall dining program.

• Manage purchasing, inventory, food costs, labor costs, and budget expectations.

• Hire, train, coach, and develop culinary and service team members.

• Maintain strong food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and maintenance standards.

• Conduct team meetings and training programs to support employee development.

• Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.

• Monitor operational and financial performance, including P&L and reporting.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dining environment.

• Support special projects and other operational needs as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary Arts degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of progressive culinary management experience.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

• Experience managing food and labor costs, budgets, purchasing, and inventory.

• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage.

• P&L and financial reporting experience preferred.

• Strong client relations and professional communication skills.

• Self-motivated, innovative, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.

• Passion for culinary excellence and exceptional hospitality.

• ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred.

• Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs.
