About Novel Brands

Novel Brands develops and launches consumer products across multiple owned brands. Our products are sold at major retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, Ace Hardware, TJX, Burlington, and Kohl's, as well as on Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok Shop. We're a small, fast-moving team that handles everything in-house, from product development and packaging to go-to-market.

The Role

We're hiring immediately for a Sales Coordinator to support and grow our wholesale business. Our product pipeline is moving faster than our ability to get it in front of buyers, and every retailer has its own portal, programs, and deadlines to keep up with. You'll be the person who keeps all of that organized and on time. You'll work hand in hand with our CEO and Business Operations Manager to review account performance, track buyer outreach, and bring back what buyers are saying about our pricing and products. This is a great fit for someone who knows their way around retailer portals and wants to grow into a full account management role.

What You'll Do

• Manage item setups, item data, and documentation across retailer vendor portals
• Own retailer promotional and trade show programs, including deal submissions, new item onboarding cutoffs, and convention prep
• Build promotional offers that meet each retailer's program criteria, confirming pricing with the CEO and Business Operations Manager before submitting
• Maintain a calendar of every retailer deadline, including line reviews, new item cutoffs, deal submissions, and trade shows, so no opportunity is missed
• Prepare and follow up on buyer quotes, product samples, spec sheets, and item documentation
• Handle buyer outreach and follow-up, and keep accurate records of all buyer activity and where each conversation stands
• Partner with the CEO and Business Operations Manager in regular account reviews, and prepare reports on account performance and new opportunities
• Share buyer feedback and competitive observations on pricing, placement, and trends to support leadership decisions
• Maintain buyer pitch decks, line sheets, and catalogs using finalized sell sheets and pricing
• Keep vendor agreements and contracts current and track renewal and update deadlines
• Check in regularly with our Accounts team to confirm we're in good standing with each retailer, flagging compliance, chargeback, payment, or scorecard issues early
• Work closely with our Accounts, Operations, and Creative teams so every retailer gets accurate information and a smooth experience, and hand off confirmed purchase orders and retailer requirements to our Director of Operations

What You Bring

• 2–5 years of experience in sales support, retail account coordination, or wholesale at a consumer products company
• Hands-on experience with retailer vendor portals
• A high tolerance for detailed, repetitive data work, and the accuracy to get item data right the first time
• Strong organization and follow-through; you track deadlines without being reminded
• Clear, professional communication with buyers over email and phone
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides

Nice to Have

• Exposure to EDI platforms
• Experience with retailer promotional programs or trade shows
• Existing relationships with retail buyers
