About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer to spearhead its national fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and the leadership team to design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy. This role is pivotal in transforming the department into a world-class fundraising operation and overseeing initiatives that will support the growth of the company's programs. The Chief Development Officer will also serve as a key external representative, engaging with individuals, corporations, and foundations to secure contributions and drive fundraising campaigns. A significant focus will be on expanding the national fundraising strategy and revenue, as well as enhancing the fundraising potential of the company's numerous chapters. Applicants for the Chief Development Officer position at the company should be prepared to lead the rebuilding of fundraising momentum, particularly in the post-pandemic landscape. The role requires a dynamic and influential leader with the vision to build a comprehensive strategy and the experience to bring it to fruition.
