Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while also incorporating face-to-face sessions at our outpatient office located in the vibrant Sacramento area. Our practice embraces a schedule that accommodates our clients' needs, with operations available from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to appraise patients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment interventions.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience enhancement for each client.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to individuals and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for patients, ensuring comprehensive treatment strategies.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, employing a calm and composed demeanor to assist clients effectively.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, equipping them with tools for resilience and recovery.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in alignment with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care principles.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be providing care primarily to children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a wide range of mental health issues stemming from traumatic experiences. Our practice centers around understanding the unique traumas that may affect families and individuals, allowing counselors like you to foster healing in a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of California.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to the role.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in settings that specialize in trauma-informed therapy.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions such as EMDR or TF-CBT.

• A proactive approach to managing and documenting patient progress, with a commitment to completing clinical notes within 24 hours.
\n
• Willingness to work with couples and families, backed by the training provided by our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
