Step into a dynamic role supporting students across scenic El Dorado County. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll have the chance to work in a variety of educational settings, including locations ranging from El Dorado Hills to Camino. This is a perfect fit for professionals who are comfortable being on the move, as assignments and work sites may shift throughout the school year. The district values on-site support and takes pride in collaborating with dedicated SLPs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLP license (no additional district or licensing requirements)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience or understanding of CA Schools/Special Education Information System (SEIS) is a plus
- Willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and travel between multiple locations
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLP Assistants (SLPAs) with on-site SLP supervision provided
- Ability to manage mild to moderate caseloads, with the potential to support students with more significant needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site speech-language services to students across various schools in the county
- Travel between sites as needed; itinerant scheduling is likely
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Complete timely documentation and progress reports using SEIS when possible
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
