Corporate Associate - Mergers amp Acquisitions

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join its Mergers & Acquisitions team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in M&A, private equity transactions, private investments, complex restructurings, joint ventures, and other related transactions. The role requires collaboration with colleagues locally, nationally, and internationally. Duties Lead M&A deals from inception through closing. Serve as the lead draftsperson for primary transaction documents. Manage multiple deals simultaneously. Interact with clients and opposing counsel. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary and cross-border teams. Requirements 5-7 years of law firm experience focused on M&A and related transactions. Experience leading M&A deals and drafting transaction documents. Ability to manage multiple transactions concurrently. Strong client interaction skills. Experience working in collaborative environments. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
