Cleveland Menu is a 3rd generation family-owned business that has been serving the hospitality industry since 1930 and specializes in the design and production of high-quality leather, metal, wood and printed menu covers. We are a fast paced, rapidly growing organization that is looking for candidates with a proven track record of reliability and desire to grow with the company. The Woodshop Operator is responsible for operating woodworking machinery and performing tasks involved in the production of wood-based menu covers.

Essential Job Duties:

• Operate woodshop machinery to cut and clean wood to design specifications.
• Read work orders and set machines in accordance with job specifications.
• Ensure that machines are in proper working order.
• Ensure that the company's safety regulations and procedures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and specifications.
• Team player with good work ethic and communication skills.
• Familiarity with woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of woodworking experience is preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements This position operates in a manufacturing plant environment and is exposed to fluctuating temperatures in certain areas; noises; working around machinery with moving parts; working in close proximity to others; and exposure to strong odors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift/move/carry up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods of time; use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; stoop/kneel/bend/crouch to reach material; and operate machinery and/or power tools.
