Graphics Project Manager

Heritage Signs & Displays is seeking an experienced Graphics Project Manager to lead client projects across Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland from our Arlington, VA office. At Heritage, one project manager owns the project. From site survey through final installation, you coordinate our in-house design, production, fabrication, and installation teams — the same turnkey model our clients hire us for. You are the single point of accountability, and the person the client trusts. This is a revenue-producing, incentivized role. Delivering at least $1 million in annual project revenue is the minimum baseline expectation — the goal is $1.5M–$3M+ in annual revenue production . We are looking for a proven producer with a track record of personally generating $1M+ in annual project revenue. The posted range reflects base pay plus on-target performance incentives, with additional upside as your production climbs toward and beyond that goal. Please note: this is a revenue-producing client development and project management role — not a studio design position. Full detail: Key Responsibilities 1. Client Development & Revenue Ownership Relationship Building: Build and deepen relationships with the organizations that power the National Capital Region — government agencies and defense contractors, trade associations, nonprofits, higher education, healthcare, law firms, embassies, media and creative agencies, and major event venues. Discovery & Consultation: Listen to the goals behind each project, review the needs of the space, and recommend visual solutions that are practical, meaningful, and aligned with the client’s identity. Estimating & Quoting: Scope, estimate, and quote projects, then present polished proposals to decision‑makers. Revenue Accountability: Own your pipeline and deliver against the $1M minimum baseline while building toward the $1.5M–$3M+ annual revenue goal, earning repeat business and referrals through performance. 2. End-to-End Project Execution Single‑Owner Model: Manage each project from initial client request through final execution as the client’s single point of accountability. Team Coordination: Direct in‑house creative, production, fabrication, and installation teams delivering lobby signage, dimensional lettering, wall wraps, window and privacy glass graphics, wayfinding systems, custom interior signs, wall displays, and branded conference and event environments. Systems Mastery: Master and run our process‑driven systems to keep every project organized, on schedule, and on brand. Stakeholder Navigation: Coordinate confidently in environments where deadlines, security requirements, building rules, facility access, brand standards, and leadership approvals all matter. What We Offer Pay for Performance: Base salary plus on‑target incentives, with genuine upside as production grows beyond the $1M baseline toward $1.5M–$3M+. The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $165,000 per year (base salary plus on‑target incentives). Reports directly to the Director of Development. Required experience: 5+ years in commercial signage, wide‑format printing, environmental graphics, or interior branding; a proven track record of personally generating $1M+ in annual project revenue; experience scoping, estimating, and quoting projects; and a valid driver's license. Preferred experience: 10+ years in the signage and graphics industry, established client relationships across the National Capital Region, and experience directing design, production, and installation teams.
