Job Description
The Accountant Bookkeeper plays a critical role in managing financial records and supporting accounting operations within a small team of 2-5 members. This position involves frequent interaction with clients and requires proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Intuit Lacerte. The role also includes assisting with tax preparation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct account and bank reconciliations
- Enter and organize data efficiently
- Manage filing systems
- Answer phones and liaise with clients regularly
- Assist with tax preparation tasks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- Strong communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in accounting
