The role involves serving as the front desk and face of a corporate campus, ensuring smooth operations in the lobby and assisting employees as they return to the office. Responsibilities include managing meeting space reservations, handling IT tickets, and creating visitor badges.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the front desk representative and assist employees and visitors as they enter the office.
- Manage meeting space reservations and handle IT ticket requests.
- Create visitor badges and address individuals waiting in the lobby.
- Receive and direct incoming calls to the appropriate personnel or voicemail.
- Greet clients, applicants, and visitors, issue visitor passes and parking validations, and follow security protocols.
- Schedule and prepare meeting and conference rooms, including room setup, catering orders, and securing technological equipment.
- Request building and housekeeping services as needed.
- Perform general clerical duties, such as distributing office faxes and packages and ordering office supplies.
- Track incoming and outgoing packages, mail, and freight, and arrange messenger services as needed.
- Arrange hospitality services for guests, including transportation, tickets, and reservations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
- Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Work Environment
The work environment includes conducting campus tours a few times a month for new hires, visitors, and college tours/visits. Campus walks occur a few times a week, lasting around one hour. The shift covers all breaks and lunches, with responsibilities to walk between both lobbies. Working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM. The role supports a new building that will go live soon.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
