Solutions Architect II

Role Description

The Senior Microsoft Alliance Solution Architect serves as the Senior technical enabler of our Microsoft partnership. Reporting directly to the Global Leader of the Microsoft Cloud AI Partner Program, this role works day to day in partnership with:

• Practice Leaders (AI Business Solutions, Cloud & AI Platform, Security)
• Alliance Management
• Global Microsoft Partnership Leadership

This role is intentionally designed with high autonomy and broad scope, balanced by deep collaboration. Success comes from influence, enablement, and orchestration — not formal authority.

How You’ll Create Impact

• Operate as a force multiplier across teams and partners, amplifying the impact of practice leadership, alliance management, and Microsoft field engagement through technical clarity and shared execution.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships — internally and across Microsoft.
• Move with speed and intent, balancing strategic foresight with pragmatic execution.
• Enable scale by designing systems, automation, and repeatable motions across marketplace, co-sell, and partner operations.
• Bring ingenuity and curiosity to the work, challenging conventional approaches and co-creating new models for AI-driven, agentic delivery.
• Maintain CRM and co-sell hygiene, track program and compliance requirements, support funding and incentive submissions, coordinate case study production, and ensure marketplace and Partner Center artifacts remain accurate and current.

Platform, Tooling & Automation Expectations

This role is expected to design, build, and continuously evolve alliance critical platforms and automation that power our Microsoft partnership at scale.

• Alliance & Partner Operations Platform: An internal, AI-enabled alliance hub that orchestrates data, workflows, and insights across Partner Center, CRM, marketplace, and funding programs.
• Marketplace & Offer Automation: Automated creation, management, and optimization of Microsoft Commercial Marketplace offers.
• Opportunity Intelligence & Solution Mapping: AI-driven processing of CRM and co-sell opportunities.
• Differentiation & Competency Enablement: Workflow-driven assessment and document analysis to accelerate Microsoft Solutions Partner designations.
• Agentic & Copilot Led Systems: Design and application of agentic patterns using Copilot Studio and Azure AI orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Microsoft Partner Differentiation & Strategy (In Partnership)
  • Define and execute strategies to achieve and expand Microsoft Solutions Partner designations.
  • Partner with internal leaders to translate Microsoft’s AI, Copilot, and platform roadmap into differentiated offerings.
  • Enable thought leadership across the organization.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on Microsoft’s direction.
• Microsoft Field Engagement & Co Sell Enablement
  • Serve as a Senior technical counterpart to Microsoft’s Enterprise Partner Solutions organization.
  • Enable Microsoft co-sell success by aligning architecture and solution design.
  • Partner with account teams and Microsoft sellers to support complex enterprise conversations.
  • Represent the organization at Microsoft events.
• Microsoft Programs, Marketplace & Partner Center
  • Enable and optimize participation across Microsoft’s core partner motions.
  • Serve as the architect of alliance systems and automation.
  • Enable a marketplace led growth motion by partnering with product, marketing, and alliance teams.
  • Continuously evaluate new and emerging Microsoft programs.
• Internal Enablement, Automation & Practice Alignment
  • Partner deeply with Practice Leadership to ensure Microsoft alignment.
  • Enable teams through guidance, architecture standards, training, and reusable assets.
  • Help design and champion AI-driven and agentic automation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on strategic deals and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, Professional Services, Consulting, or Cloud Platforms required; 12+ years strongly preferred.
• 5–8+ years of direct experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Requirements

• Strong, working knowledge of the Microsoft cloud and AI stack.
• Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft partner programs and motions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130,000.00 - $200,000.00/yr. Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, profit sharing, etc.

This is a fully remote position.
