Salary: $75,000–$82,000 + Comprehensive Benefits

Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for exceptional guest service, team development, and operational excellence? We are seeking a talented Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team of one of Boston's premier upscale casual seafood restaurants. Located in the heart of Boston, our scratch kitchen is known for serving the freshest seafood, handcrafted cuisine, and outstanding hospitality in a polished yet welcoming atmosphere.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a high-volume, guest-focused environment and is ready to help lead a team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Position Summary

As Restaurant Manager, you will partner closely with the General Manager to oversee the daily front-of-house operations while ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and financial success. You will lead by example, inspire your team, and create an environment where both employees and guests feel valued.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, embraces accountability, and has a proven ability to build high-performing teams while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience during every shift.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, service, cleanliness, and operational execution.
  • Partner with the culinary leadership team to ensure seamless communication and exceptional food quality.
  • Drive sales while managing labor, controllable costs, and overall restaurant profitability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of restaurant supplies and beverage products.
  • Ensure compliance with all company standards, health department regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively, creating memorable service recoveries.
  • Analyze operational performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
  • Support scheduling, shift execution, opening and closing procedures, and overall leadership coverage.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale casual, polished casual, or fine dining environment.
  • Scratch kitchen and high-volume restaurant experience of $8 million plus strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing, coaching, and retaining hospitality professionals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage labor, food and beverage costs, and daily financial performance.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building lasting guest relationships.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
