About Chime At Chime, we’re on a mission to unite everyday people to unlock their financial progress. By eliminating unnecessary fees and building products that help people save, spend, and grow their money, we empower millions of Americans to take control of their financial lives. About The Role We’re seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to join Chime’s Growth & Marketing Finance team. This role partners closely with cross‑functional leaders across Growth, Marketing, Product, and Data to evaluate growth initiatives, measure performance, and inform strategic investment decisions. Our team’s mandate is to bring rigorous, data‑driven insights to help Chime scale efficiently and drive sustainable growth. As a thought partner to the business, you will play a critical role in shaping how Chime evaluates and prioritizes growth opportunities—from new acquisition strategies to new product launches. You will structure complex business questions, build analytical frameworks, and translate performance data into clear recommendations that influence how and where we invest. As Chime continues to expand, we’re looking for versatile, strategic thinkers who can move fluidly between deep analysis and cross‑functional leadership. In this role, you’ll lead growth‑focused analyses end‑to‑end—from problem definition and hypothesis development through modeling, insight generation, and executive communication—while working closely with partners to drive alignment and execution. Success in this role requires strong analytical rigor, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with ownership in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $141,000.00 and up to $195,000.00. Full‑time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. In This Role, You Can Expect To Partner with Finance, Marketing, and Product leadership to support growth strategy discussions, define success metrics, and measure the impact of growth initiatives across the user lifecycle Lead cohort‑based analyses and deep dives by extracting, visualizing, and synthesizing data to identify performance trends, key drivers, and areas of opportunity across acquisition and engagement Evaluate risks and opportunities to the current growth plan by developing a holistic understanding of Chime’s marketing and growth roadmap Develop, deliver, and maintain clear, insightful reporting that helps business leaders track progress vs expectations Support and continuously improve forecasting processes, systems, and tooling to better reflect growth dynamics, streamline operations, and enhance scalability and automation Contribute to earnings preparation and executive narratives related to user growth, translating complex analyses into clear insights and externally facing performance stories Leverage automation and emerging AI capabilities to enhance reporting, streamline workflows, and improve scalability To Thrive In This Role, You Have 8+ years of relevant experience in Strategic Finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, venture capital or a related field, ideally within a high‑growth technology environment Exceptional skills with building scalable, efficient, and intuitive financial models; prior experience with Looker and SQL a plus Demonstrated prior experience with cohort data and ROI analysis; familiarity with marketing ecosystem, acquisition channels, and channel KPIs a plus Excellent communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex findings into concise and actionable insights High attention to detail and a strong ownership mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work and influence cross‑functionally with minimal guidance; you will communicate with cross‑functional partners and senior leadership on a weekly basis A Little About Us At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress. We created Chime—a financial technology company, not a bank—on the premise that core banking services should be helpful, easy, and free. We each bring an owner's mindset to our work, refusing to be outdone and holding ourselves accountable to meet and exceed the highest bars for our teams, our company, and our members. We believe in being bold, dreaming big, and taking risks, while also working together, embracing our diverse perspectives, and giving each other honest feedback. Our culture remains deeply entrepreneurial, encouraging every Chimer to see themselves as stewards of our mission to help everyday Americans unlock their financial progress. We know that to achieve our mission, we must earn and keep people's trust—so we hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity in everything we do. These aren't just words on a wall—our values are embedded in every aspect of our business, serving as a north star that guides us as we work to help millions achieve their financial potential. Because if we don't—who will? Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A., Members FDIC. What We Offer For Our Full-time, Regular Employees Our in‑office work policy is designed to keep you connected—four days a week in the office and Fridays from home for those near one of our offices, plus team and company‑wide events depending on location. Whether you’re coming in regularly or are part of our fully remote program, you’ll stay engaged with your work and teammates. In‑office perks including backup child, elder, and/or pet care, plus a subsidized commuter benefit to support your regular commute. Competitive salary based on experience. ✨ 401(k) match plus great medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Generous vacation policy and company‑wide Chime Days, bonus company‑wide paid days off. 1% of your time off to support local community organizations of your choice. Access to Maven, a family planning tool, with $15k lifetime reimbursement for egg freezing, fertility treatments, adoption, and more. In‑person and virtual events to connect with your fellow Chimers—think cooking classes, guided meditations, music festivals, mixology classes, paint nights, etc., and delicious snack boxes, too! A challenging and fulfilling opportunity to join one of the most experienced teams in FinTech and help millions unlock financial progress. Perks also available to Chime Interns.
