Principal Specialist, Program Management

Principal Specialist – Value Stream Program Manager (Principal Specialist - Value Stream Program Manager) – Onsite position located in Westford, MA. Responsible for overseeing a program area within the Global ISR Sensors & Software business unit, assisting Program Managers in development and production efforts for domestic (US) and foreign military sales (FMS) programs. Requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance. Responsibilities Assist in management of all aspects of program cost, schedule, and technical execution to drive predictable performance. Perform risk and opportunity (R&O) management, including program revenue and profit recognition, to minimize risk to the organization. Be accountable for profit and loss, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and financial metric reviews. Develop and review cost proposals and conduct management reviews for approval. Regularly interface with internal partners across the Raytheon business and external suppliers/customers at both domestic and international locations. Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time. Qualifications Must Have University Degree in project management, business administration, engineering or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Or an advanced degree in a related field plus a minimum of 3 years of experience. Prior program or project management experience preferred. Prior Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and technical aptitude with excellent business communication and presentation skills. Proven leadership experience and ability to work cooperatively across multiple levels of the organization. Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Salary range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. Compensation may also include annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive programs based on individual performance and company results.
