Payroll Manager | Hybrid | Washington, D.C. | $100K Are you a payroll professional who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and making a meaningful impact in a mission-driven environment? Aprio is partnering with an organization in Washington, D.C. to find a Payroll Manager to lead centralized payroll operations across four distinctive institutions. What You\'ll Be Doing: Leading end-to-end payroll for 500+ regular, temporary, and seasonal employees across multiple institutions and states Serving as primary Paylocity system administrator — processing, reporting, and system management Preparing payroll tax filings, 941 reconciliations, W-2s, and audit support Coordinating garnishments, direct deposits, retirement contributions, and benefit deductions Partnering with HR, Finance, and institutional leaders across a shared services model Identifying opportunities to modernize processes, strengthen controls, and improve service delivery What We\'re Looking For: 5+ years of progressive payroll administration experience Multi-state payroll processing — 500+ employees preferred Paylocity experience strongly preferred Experience with 941 reconciliations, payroll tax filings, and audit support Multi-institution or shared services experience a plus Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, HR, Business, or related field Why This Role: Hybrid — 2 days onsite in Washington, D.C. with path to fully remote once established Free parking Mission-driven environment supporting iconic educational and cultural institutions Opportunity to modernize and truly own the payroll function #PayrollManager #Paylocity #WashingtonDC #HybridWork #PayrollJobs #NowHiring #Aprio #J-18808-Ljbffr
