Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will engage with clients in multiple formats—couples therapy as well as individualized counseling sessions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments to determine client needs and establishing treatment plans tailored to individual and family contexts.

• Facilitating therapy sessions focusing on a range of issues, including but not limited to family conflicts, grief and loss, communication barriers, and adjustment difficulties related to separation and divorce.

• Utilizing therapeutic methodologies appropriate for diverse populations, with a particular focus on the interactions and dynamics within families.

• Creating a safe, supportive environment that encourages open communication and healing among clients.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients with complex needs.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress to comply with organizational standards.

As a therapist working with Soul Canvas Healing, you will serve a diverse client population, which may include:

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
