Sanitation Lead

Job Description Job Description – Sanitation Lead (Night Shift) – Dairy Production We are partnering with a leading North American dairy manufacturer to hire an experienced Sanitation Supervisor (Night Shift) for their high-volume production facility in Bellingham, WA . This role plays a critical part in ensuring food safety, sanitation excellence, and compliance with regulatory standards in a fast-paced dairy processing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise all CIP (Clean-in-Place) sanitation programs. Oversee HTST (High Temperature Short Time) pasteurizer cleaning and sanitation. Troubleshoot CIP issues, including sensor replacements, air fittings, and system adjustments. Plan and allocate manpower for manual cleaning tasks; adjust workloads as needed. Monitor and document chemical usage, ensuring adherence to safe operating procedures. Review sanitation charts and documentation from CIP and HTST systems. Conduct cleanliness verification and sanitation testing. Ensure strict compliance with GMP , sanitation SOPs, and workplace safety guidelines. Address performance and attendance matters for sanitation team members. Recommend and implement sanitation process improvements. Communicate daily with QA and facility leadership. Foster a positive, high-performing team culture. Requirements 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience (food or dairy manufacturing preferred). 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume production environment. Working knowledge of GMP , SOPs, and WHMIS/hazardous materials handling. Mechanical aptitude is an asset. Ability to work in hot/cold environments, handle chemicals, and lift up to 50 lbs . Comfortable kneeling, climbing, bending, and performing repetitive physical tasks. Ability to work in a humid, noisy food-production setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr SoluZone Consulting
