Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for students, utilizing clinical knowledge to evaluate personal histories, present concerns, and any pertinent risk factors.

  Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, to effectively address a spectrum of mental health issues.

  Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding students in personal growth, emotional regulation, and the acquisition of effective coping strategies.

  Collaborate with other mental health professionals—such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners—to coordinate comprehensive student care and ensure a holistic treatment approach.

  Provide urgent crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation strategies and making necessary referrals for higher-level care as appropriate.

  Deliver psychoeducation to students and families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

  Maintain meticulous documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other vital records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be a diverse and inclusive student body, including individuals with varying emotional and psychological needs. You will work closely with students facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and familial stressors, ensuring that each student receives personalized care tailored to their unique situation.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
