Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and providing therapy for couples, families, and individuals.
\n
• Facilitating sessions aimed at addressing relational and individual issues such as communication difficulties, conflict resolution, and emotional healing.
\n
• Specializing in areas including but not limited to grief and loss, conflicts among family members, blended family dynamics, job stress, medical concerns, and the transition through separation and divorce.
\n
• Creating customized treatment plans that take into account the unique circumstances of each family while ensuring compliance with best practices in the field.
\n
• Utilizing telemedicine as well as in-person sessions to cater to a diverse clientele.
\n
• Regularly documenting client progress and responding adaptively to clients' changing needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve adults, children, and adolescents, providing comprehensive therapeutic services that cater to the emotional and psychological needs of the full family unit. You will engage with clients experiencing various challenges that affect their relationships and overall mental health, providing a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Kansas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
