Tax Technical Expert - Manager, Director, Partner

About the Role This is a unique position for a Senior Manager, Director, or Partner level professional to join our team as a dedicated technical expert. Why Join Us? 401(k) Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance Health insurance Paid time off Responsibilities Lead sophisticated tax planning and advisory work for multinational entities, financial services firms, private investment funds, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Core areas include: International Tax: Structuring (inbound/outbound, M&A, cross-border reorganizations, GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, FTCs, transfer pricing, FATCA/FIRPTA). Partnership Tax: Planning including Sections 704(b)/(c), disguised sales, targeted allocations, and fund structures (PE, hedge, VC, QOZ, crypto). UHNW Individual Planning: Pre-immigration, cross-border trust/estate, PPLI, charitable structures, and wealth transfer. Compliance & Reporting: ASC 740, tax provision work, and complex U.S./international compliance. Controversy: IRS controversy, voluntary disclosures, streamlined filings, PLR requests, and technical memos. Qualifications CPA required; JD and/or LL.M. in Taxation is a strong plus. 15+ years of experience in public accounting and/or law firm tax practice. Recognized technical authority in international tax, partnership taxation, and/or fund structures. Strong mentoring skills for senior tax professionals.
