Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health issues.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive client care and ensure integrated support for each individual.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions, keeping abreast of best practices and advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your counseling efforts will primarily focus on individuals and families facing barriers to mental health care, including underserved populations in Camden, NJ. You will work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues, aiming to equip them with effective coping strategies and resources for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• At least two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.

• Strong foundational knowledge of legal and ethical counseling practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, dependent on experience and caseload.
