Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of clients, developing individualized therapy plans that address their unique situations.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to individual, family, couple, and group settings.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participation in workshops to enhance therapeutic skills and remain updated with advancements in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counseling services provided by our LPCs are focused on individuals and families dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Our center is particularly dedicated to supporting clients from underserved communities, ensuring they receive the compassion and care they deserve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.

• Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic techniques and a sound understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• This position offers an annual salary range of USD $70,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
