Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: You will lead engaging group therapy sessions, fostering an environment that encourages clients to share experiences and learn from each other.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: You will provide empathetic counseling and develop tailored action plans to help clients navigate their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors effectively.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborating with clients to craft individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and preferences is a core responsibility.

• Monitoring Client Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress and outcomes while providing feedback and adjustments to treatment as necessary.

• Collaborating with a Multidisciplinary Team: You will regularly communicate and coordinate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for clients, especially in complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 at our outpatient treatment center, focusing on those in need of support through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Your role is vital in providing hope and healing to this demographic, which often faces significant emotional and mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Educational Requirements: A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• Licensure: A current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license is mandatory.

• Background in Mental Health Treatment: Experience working with clients in a therapeutic setting is essential.
\n
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and empathy skills are critical to establish rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with young adults or in an outpatient treatment setting is preferred.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
