Outpatient Physical Therapist - Ortho PT

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is essential for ensuring effective return to community activities through the design of functional treatment programs. The therapist will also serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves, while adhering to the mission and core values of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans focused on progress towards discharge.
• Document medical records accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Participate in educational programs for students and support professional development.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and follow through with action plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• License to practice as a Physical Therapist in good standing.

Schedule

This position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule.
