Shape your career supporting students as a School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working in a dynamic educational environment near Rosenberg, TX. This contract opportunity involves working on-site for the duration of the 2026–2027 academic year, with a start date in August and a completion in May. Flexibility is available for either full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time schedules. You’ll primarily work at one campus, with the possibility to float between two sites based on student needs across elementary, middle, and high school age groups. Caseloads typically average 80–90 students, with assignments tailored according to skill level and site enrollment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active professional SLPA license required
• Recent experience in school-based settings, specifically serving elementary and secondary student populations
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices strongly preferred
• Must successfully complete state fingerprinting and background check prior to employment
• Commitment to time-sensitive credentialing procedures
• Please indicate if you have previously worked for this district and if you have ever been terminated from a school district, as completion of an affidavit may be necessary

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ educational goals
• Document session notes and progress in accordance with school policies
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs, including the use of AAC devices
• Engage in regular communication with parents, teachers, and school administration
