Human Resources Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an HR Generalist with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, located in Hicksville, NY. Responsibilities: Support onboarding and separation activities, ensuring a seamless employee experience. Prepare and maintain employment documentation, including new hire records and personnel files. Digitize, upload, and organize employee records within electronic filing systems. Maintain accurate employee information in HRIS platforms and internal databases. Provide administrative assistance for HR initiatives, projects, and special assignments. Assist employees with benefit elections, updates, and routine questions regarding available programs. Help coordinate annual benefits enrollment campaigns and communications. Serve as a liaison between employees, benefit carriers, and external vendors to resolve issues and obtain information. Administer leave-related processes, including family, medical, disability, and accommodation requests. Partner with third-party leave administrators to ensure required documentation is submitted and tracked. Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure employee data is accurate and up to date. Assist with benefit invoice reviews, reconciliations, and monthly reporting activities. Provide support during audits and assist with the preparation of HR-related reports. Manage incoming inquiries through the HR mailbox and provide timely responses. Handle HR phone calls and direct requests to appropriate resources when needed. Educate employees on company policies, procedures, programs, and available resources. Qualifications: 3+ years of Human Resources or HR administrative experience.
