These are our current openings – if you don’t find what you’re looking for, send your CV for ongoing consideration, follow us for postings, or submit your email for notifications: Position: Staff Accountant Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Id: 175 # of Openings: 1 Responsibilities Reconcile cash and make journal entries Send weekly cash status updates to CEO & Controller Post cash between intercompany accounts as needed Monthly account reconciliations Assist with month-end processes Monthly allocations Prepare standard journal entries Compile and update supporting documents for financial packet Invoice for services performed and/or as contracts dictate Communicate with service providers/employees to obtain data needed for billing Prepare invoices and submit to clients Apply cash received to invoices, track outstanding balances, provide status updates to Controller Accounts Payable backup Respond to ad hoc information requests in a timely manner Allocate divisional expenses for benefits invoices and make adjusting journal entries as needed Seek opportunities to improve the organization Ensure organized and thorough records are maintained with a logical audit trail Qualifications Education/Training/Experience Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field 1 to 2 years experience in general accounting role preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail Demonstrates ability to plan, organize, schedule and complete work with a sense of urgency and within deadlines Ability to evaluate, analyze and proactively solve problems Ability to work effectively with others Find Your Home Our entire region offers a great value and lifestyle, while each city has its own distinctive character and unique offerings.
