JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Technical Repair and Support Specialist, CNC Machines
DEPARTMENT: Service
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides repair services and technical support to team members
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide repair and maintenance work on CNC milling machines, in-house and occasionally on-site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC machines and CAD/CAM software or hardware
issues.
- Provide team members with technical support and guidance
- Other duties as assigned
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REQUIRED TRAVEL: Occasional (about 20%)
SUBORDINATE POSITIONS: None
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Service Manager
LOCATION: vhf Inc, Hauppauge, NY 11788
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical equipment repair
- Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Ability to work successfully, both independently, as well as part of a team.
- Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Prior CNC and CAD/CAM experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree (vocational school, Associate Degree) or 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Driver's License
- Authorization to work
